The scene stars with mercutio and Benvolio still looking for Romeo but it quickly changes into the note revived by Tybalt for a duel against Romeo. Romeo then appears and starts to have banter with Mercutio who says he has been sleeping with a prostitute he disputes this. The nurse then enters and wants to talk to Romeo she starts to be insulted by Mercutio then he and Benvolio leaves to go to the feast. Romeo then tells the nurse that the wedding will be at confession.

Act2 Scene2 summary
The scene starts by Friar Lawrence saying how nice the sunrise is, this tells the audience that they have finally reached Monday. The Friar then goes on to say hat something can be good as well as being bad.’Within the infant rind of this weak flower/Poison hath residence, and medicine power:’ Romeo is now here and says good morning to the Friar, he is confused that he is there so early and thinks its because of his love for Rosaline, he says no but then realizes he hasn’t slept at all. Romeo tells him that he loves Juliet.’my heart’s dear love is set/On a fair daughter of rich Capulet;’ The Friar is shocked and says he doesn’t love her from the heart just the eyes and it is rushed. However he is happy because because he believes the marriage between them would end the rivalry between the two families.
Romeo&Juliet act1 scene5 summary
The party has begun. The serving men are trying to make everything perfect. Capulet makes his opening speech saying to the men all the women will dance with you, and if the women refuse it’s probabley because they have corns. ‘Will now deny to dance? She that makes dainty,She, I’ll swear, hath corns’ Capulet and his cousin then discuss when they last went to a masquerade. Romeo now has a first glimpse of Juliet(Capulet’s daughter) he asks a serving man who it is but he does not know because she is wearing a mask. He goes on to say how she is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. ‘
Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night.’ This is ironic because about five minutes ago Romeo was explaining how he is extremely depressed because Rosaline his ‘only love’ does not love him back. Tybalt recognises Romeo’ voice and want him gone so tells his uncle, Capulet. Capulet tells Tybalt that he will not ruin his party. He argues back but is quickly dismissed. Romeo starts to talk to Juliet as if his limps are pilgrims and she is a saint and he prays that he can kiss her.’O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do They pray; grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.’ Romeo has to leave this is when they. Realise they are from they own families rivals Romeo a Montague and Juliet a Capulet.’My only love sprung from my only hate!’
Romeo&Juliet act 1 scene 4 summary
Enter Romeo,Benvolio(Montagues) and Mercutio Romeo’s friend. They are going to Capulet’s mansion for masquerade party. Romeo says he does not want to go because he soul is too heavy with lead when Mercutio says about dancing.’I have a soul of lead So stakes me to the ground I cannot move.’ After Romeo’s excuse doesn’t work he moves on to say that he had a dream about going to the party that it would not end well Mercutio replies saying that dreams are just the work of Queen Mab, Romeo interrupts but Mercutio continues to say.’True, I talk of dreams,Which are the children of an idle brain, Begot of nothing but vain fantasy,’ Benvoilo then stops them and says we are going to the party they all leave with Romeo saying my fate is the work of God and I can not change it even if I try.’But He that hath the steerage of my course,Direct my sail. On, lusty gentlemen.’ All exit.

The scene starts with Lady Capulet looking for her daughter Juliet(Capulet). Juliet is dound and her mother tells the nurse to leave them but then changes her mind and asks her to stay. they begin to talk about Juliets age the nurse says she isn’t fourteen yet.’I’ll lay fourteen of my teeth and yet, to my teen be it spoken, I have but four she is not fourteen.’ She is betting her teeth that Juliet is not fourteen. The nurse goes on about ha eleven years ago she stopped liking her breast milk.’That shall she. Marry, I remember it well. Tis since the earthquake now eleven years,And she was weaned I never shall forget it’when she is finished Lady Capulet tells Juliet that wants her hand in marriage through the replies sarcastically’It is an honor that I dream not of.’ it ends with the servent saying the party has begun.
Romeo&Juliet act1 scene1 summary
Sampson and Gregory servents of the capulets are having banter about the things they would do to the montagues and their women. Abram and Balthazar enter. The two capulets want to put their money where their mouths are they want the montagues to start trouble so they are not in the wrong. Sampson bites his thumb at Abram so the fighting begins. Benvolio brakes up the fighting but in return Tybalt thinks he is the one fighting so they then fight. The prince of Verona tells both families if there is anymore fighting they will die. The Capulets want to know what is wrong with Romeo so they ask Benvolio to check on his the reason is he is madly in love with rosalina.

It was all so normal. Why did it happen and why here.
It was about five years ago now, when it happened. I was just doing my daily shift. Why did i forget my gear. it was at my work the South bank tower which i was helping to build.
After it happened I left for Italy, where they’re not allowed. I have never been back hopefully i never do. It was just a normal day at work for me, I was doing the lighting, I am an electrician you see. I was on the ground floor of the tower, it was located in Waterloo. it was around forty stories high, with glass all over it. The smell of the air was stale. It looked so tall. I had a team of four James, Liz, Taylor and me Martin Wilkinsons. When you are an electrician you always have to have the right tools, clothing and eye wear for health and safety. I did not really listen to that rubbish. So I did not really bring the ‘right’ gear as the boss would put it, but I was near retirement and this was my last job, thank God. He said I was lucky, his exact words were ” Martin you are so lucky you are a pro”
We had nearly finished the ground floor when the boss, Mr Saxs got a call from the general manager.
Why now? Why today?
Mr Saxs had only been on the phone for a few minutes, when he came towards me saying how I need to get my ‘proper’ tools. So I rushed to my locker, to get my door key and my coat, it was the start of February so it was quite cold, so I rushed out of the door. I lived next to the London Nautical school, down Hatfields, I was walking down Stamford street when all of a sudden I looked at Pret and I saw Taylor.
I stood there. With fear, going around my body, not knowing what to think, he was just standing there staring back at me same haircut same smile same everything. But that was not what sent fear through my spine. It was that he was wearing totally different clothes.
When I was walking home I was thinking of something to do. I thought of something. Crazy. I got changed, but when I finally did leave the flat I brought my camcorder with me, my crazy idea. It had just left Pret when he started to walk to Blackfriars bridge. I quickly persued. I pulled out the camcorder to start recording, like what Ross Kemp used to do. I was recording for about ten minutes, explaining what happened on the way. While I was walking I was thinking of a logical explanation for this. Maybe I was being followed by spies. Robots, teleportaion. And then came my best idea. Shape-shifting aliens.
And then I saw him again. On a bus, and again in Tesco.
I felt sick and anxious. What had I ever done to deserve this? Being followed for what? They appered everywhere. The spies had done well. If that is what they were. They could of been aliens. Sent to Earth to imprison us. But why Earth? Why me? I did not find out why they were here. But i was going to find out.
I thought of how they got here, their base and everything. Imagening they would turn round the corner and take me away for testing. I walked round the corner and right infront of me was just an ordinary street cleaner. I pulled the camcorder near to my face and said a whole story of how I would not make it out alive, just like in the film. We had reached an alley way when it just stoped. And walked down the alley.
Why this alley?
I saw cameras all around and thats when I changed my idea, from aliens to spies. It had to be. An alley hidden in London, cameras, big steel doors everything you saw in ‘James Bond’
It opened one of the doors, and entered. I also went in. The coldness of the air sent shivers down my spine, the walls were white and the floor smooth. It went into a room reading A-11. I never did find out the meaning.
He turned around and shut his eyes. I didnt have the slightest idea of where we were. The celling was at least twenty foot high. With huge spotlights hanging down. The walls were this time painted black, so I was blind. I was so scared.
I lifted the camcorder so high to see. But when I saw I dropped the camcorder. And nearly fell with it.
And there in front of me were a thousand Martin Wilkinsons staring back.
