Act 2 scene 3- Transition of mindsets

For the first time lady Macbeth takes a moral viewpoint on the matter. ‘Nought’s had, all’s spent ,Where our desire is got without content:’ Tis safer to be that which we destroy Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy.’

She’s saying how you might as well be destroyed then destroy and be unhappy about it.

However Macbeth has now became at a more unstable mind where he said his mind is full of scorpions’ O full of scorpions is my mind, dear wife!’  Macbeth says about more killing and is know a ruthless murder who will do anything to hold onto his power.
